At Dorothy Barley Infant School, we believe that education extends beyond the classroom. Our enrichment programme is designed to provide children with a wide range of experiences to enhance learning and build personal development. This nurtures curiosity, builds confidence and develops the whole child. In this way, we allow each child to discover and develop their unique talents and interests.
As part of our offer for Personal Development, we offer a range of lunchtime and after school clubs. This widens our children’s experiences and supports them to develop their own interests and talents.
Rocksteady Music School
We are delighted to offer music tuition through Rocksteady Music School as an integral part of our enrichment programme. This fantastic opportunity allows children to experience the joy of making music in a fun, inclusive, and engaging way. Led by expert musicians, children can join their own rock band, learning to play instruments such as the drums, keyboard, guitar, or vocals. Through Rocksteady, our pupils not only develop musical skills but also build confidence, teamwork, and a love for performing.
