At Dorothy Barley Infant School, we have a House system in place. All children within our school belong to one of our four school houses : Benjamin, Donaldson, Rashford and Attenborough.
Pupils earn House Points for displaying school values, showing exemplary behaviour and working hard in their lessons. House Points are collected weekly by our House Captains and each week the winning House is celebrated in assembly. The House cup is awarded at the end of every half term.
Belonging to a House is very important to our children and they are proud to represent their Houses in school activities.
House Challenge
Each Half Term, all children take part in a House Challenge. House Challenge is an opportunity for pupils to work with other members of their House from across the school. Our Challenges have included, developing our Library, launching The Junior Duke Award, Sports Day with many more to come this year!
