Dear Parents/Carers,
We would like to say a big thank you to our parents and carers for their continued support in bringing your children to school every day and on time. It really does make a difference to your child’s learning!
Health & Safety Information
Parents and carers are responsible for supervising their children (both infant and older) whilst on the school premises, before and after school in the playgrounds. Please ensure your children stay close by you at the start and end of the day as the playground is a very busy place at these times.
Your child can bring a water bottle to have in school each day. This is especially important as warmer weather is now upon us! You may also wish to put sunscreen on your child, before they come to school, as the weather hopefully continues to get warmer and sunnier.

D-Day Celebrations
Thursday 6th June 2024 is the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Normandy Landings. There will be many events taking place in the UK and Normandy on the 5th and 6th June. To commemorate this special anniversary, on 6th June we would like the children in both DBI and DBJA to come to school dressed in red, white and blue!
There will be a special D-Day school lunch menu available for children of both schools on that day also.
Uniform
Please ensure that your child always comes to school in the correct, full school uniform and footwear. They should also bring their book bag to school each day.
Please ensure your child has their correct PE kit in school.
As the weather is becoming warmer, please look at our uniform policy for information regarding the school’s summer uniform.
You can find the school uniform policy on the website or please ask in the school office for a hard copy.
If you have any school uniform in good condition that your child has grown out of. we would be grateful for donations.
Please remember to write your child’s name in ALL of their uniform.
