Dear Parents/Carers,
As we are heading towards the final few weeks of term, here’s a reminder that there will be lots of exciting activities and learning happening over the coming weeks. Please keep an eye on our diary dates and contact the school office if you need any further information.
Health & Safety Information
Parents and carers are responsible for supervising their children (both infant and older) whilst on the school premises, before and after school in the playgrounds. Please ensure your children stay close by you at the start and end of the day as the playground is a very busy place at these times.
Your child can bring a water bottle to have in school each day. This is especially important as warmer weather is now upon us! You may also wish to put sunscreen on your child, before they come to school, as the weather hopefully continues to get warmer and sunnier.

Year 2 Graduation
Next Thursday 18th July, we will be hosting our Graduation Ceremony for our Year 2 Pupils.
Please ensure you purchase your tickets and your child’s official graduation photo in advance. Both items need to be paid for on Parentpay and tickets will be given to your child to bring home.
You must make sure you keep these tickets and bring them with you on the day. The photos will be given to each child to bring home as well as some extra special souvenir gifts that we have made for them.
DBI 90th Birthday Celebration
It has been wonderful to see all the children and adults dressed up in such amazing outfits today!
Everyone has had a fantastic time and we would like to thank all our families for going to so much effort with the children’s outfits and joining in with our celebratory picnic lunch, it was great to see you all having such a lovely time!
Your support for this very special event is very much appreciated.
Thank you to everyone in our school community for joining in today!
Uniform
Please ensure that your child always comes to school in the correct, full school uniform and footwear. They should also bring their book bag to school each day.
Please ensure your child has their correct PE kit in school.
As the weather is now warmer, please look at our uniform policy for information regarding the school’s summer uniform.
You can find the school uniform policy on the website or please ask in the school office for a hard copy.
If you have any school uniform in good condition that your child has grown out of. we would be grateful for donations.
Please remember to write your child’s name in ALL of their uniform.
Last Day of Term – Friday 19th July
A reminder to our families that next Friday 19th July is the last day of summer term and the school closes at 1.15pm.
On Friday Breakfast Club will be open as normal but there will be no Afterschool Club.
Thank you for your continued support.
