Dear Parents and Carers,
We are almost at the end of this academic year with only one more week in school! Don’t forget to check the blogs below to see what your child has been learning in class.
Rocksteady Concert
Our budding rockstars were very excited to perform to the rest of the school and to their families this week. They have been working hard all term learning to play a range of instruments and really showed off their skills!
We hope that all the families of children participating in Rocksteady are very proud of their achievements.
EYFS Stay and Play
We have been busy this week meeting all of our new Nursery and Reception children starting in September. We always enjoy getting to know the children and finding out more about their personalities, skills and talents.
Lots of important information was shared during the parent meetings. The Nursery and Reception Prospectuses include much of this information, but if you do have any further questions, please pop in to the office or call us.
A letter will follow over the next week detailing when your child will start with us and who their teacher will be. All new Nursery children and Reception children not currently in our Nursery will start off with a home visit in September, which is an opportunity for us to find our more about your child and how we can best support them in school.
Junior Duke
This year, we introduced the Junior Duke award for the first time. The Junior Duke is an award designed to promote and develop life skills, as well as resilience and independence.
It has been wonderful to see so many children completing their challenges and coming into school excited to share what they have been doing with us. Thank you to all of the families who have supported us with this.
Children who have completed their award will be celebrated in a special assembly on Tuesday 15th July at 9:00am. Parents and carers of these children will be invited into school to celebrate with us. Look out for a letter coming home with more information if your child has returned their completed booklet to school.
