18 Oct Reception – Understanding the World – What is Autumn?
The children have really enjoyed exploring the pumpkins as part of our Big Question, ‘What is Autumn?’. The children said it was slimy and soft and had lots of seeds inside. They also enjoyed printing repeated patterns using Autumnal colours in Maths. We have also enjoyed using natural materials to create a collage of a hibernating hedgehog. We learnt that headgehogs sleep in Autumn because it is too cold.
