06 Mar World Book Day 2026
We all thoroughly enjoyed celebrating World Book Day on Thursday. Reading is at the heart of everything we do at Dorothy Barley Infant School and we are proud that our children are growing a love of reading.
The children looked wonderful in their pyjamas and we had a great variety of teddies! The children enjoyed sharing their favourite books with their friends and teachers in class and there was also time for children to read with older or younger children from across the school.
Thank you to all of the parents and carers who were able to come into school to read with us. We value opportunities like this to work together.
