We have had another busy week in school, with all year groups practising their nativity plays and concerts. There are lots of exciting events happening over the last two weeks of term, so please check the dates and reminders below to keep up to date.
Thank you to everyone who attended our last ‘Time to Talk’ session of this term on Wednesday, focused on online safety. If you were not able to attend, the presentation can be found below. It includes important information about how to set up parental controls on any devices your children use to access the internet, as well as advice about social media and online gaming. If you are buying any devices as Christmas presents this year, the best advice is to ‘set it up before you wrap it up’ to ensure that your child is as safe as possible.
Our Autumn term Parents Evenings will be held on Wednesday 11th December and Thursday 12th December. If you have not yet booked a slot for this, please contact the school office. Online booking via Parent Mail is no longer available but we can still book appointments for you as necessary.
Nursery meetings will take place on Wednesday 11th December. This means that the Nursery is closed to pupils on that day. Please see Miss Rehling, Sue or Zoe to book your appointment
Thursday 12th December is Christmas Jumper Day. As usual, we will be raising money for the charity ‘Save the Children’. We are therefore kindly asking all families for a donation of £1. We can’t wait to see the children in their Christmas jumpers!
Thursday 12th December is also Christmas dinner day. Please see the menu below for further information.

We are delighted to welcome the Community Music Service into school next Tuesday morning, when they will be performing a festive concert for the children. This event is a wonderful opportunity for our pupils to experience live music and celebrate the festive season. As a school, we are committed to providing as many opportunities as possible to broaden our children’s experiences with the arts.
The last day of the autumn term for Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 is Friday 20th December. School finishes at 1.15pm.
The last day of term for Nursery is Thursday 19th December. School finishes at the usual time for Nursery children on this day.
All children return to school on Monday 6th January.
