14 Nov Nursery – Talk4Writing, Maths & Children in Need!
Our children have had such a busy week in Nursry!
In our Talk4Writing lessons we have been reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? The children were very clever and could remember the characters from our story and could also put them in the correct sequence of when they appear in the book.
In Maths, we have been learning to recognise different numbers and then carefully counted out the correct amount to match the numeral.
In Phonics this week, we have been learning the phoneme ‘a’. We have been looking for different things that begin with ‘a’ and spotting the letter ‘a’ in our environment. Some children even made things that begin with ‘a’.
On Friday, we also celebrated Children in Need! We loved coming to school dressed up and had such a fun day with our friends.
