28 Feb Nursery Understanding the World – Wriggle & Crawl Workshop
This week we had some very exciting visitors! We met a snake, frog, gerbil, gecko and a millipede. We learnt lots of amazing facts about them. The millipede we met had 250 legs! We got the chance to wave at, touch or hold lots of the animals and we were very brave – our teachers were too!
Also, our library story this week was ‘Whatever Next?’ by Jill Murphy. We really enjoyed listening to the story and thinking about other places our box rocket might go. When we returned to the Nursery, we found a box rocket, rocket boots and a space helmet of our own!
