24 Oct Oak Class – PSHE
In Oak class we have been learning to recognise and talk about our emotions. We have used the Zones of Regulation to link our emotions to colours. Green is calm and happy, blue is tired and sad, yellow is silly and red is angry. This week we looked at anger. We read a book called Ravi’s Roar and talked about what makes us angry. We made angry faces and thought about how our body feels when we are angry. We then drew angry pictures.
We also thought about how we can calm down when we feel angry. We practised having a drink, taking our jumper off, counting slowly to 10 and guided breathing. We have put posters up in the classroom as reminders.
