Year 1 have been exploring 3D shapes and discovering some of their names and properties.
Do you know which shapes a best to build a tower for Rapunzel? We do!
We made some shapes out of playdough and discovered that cones and pyramids were the hardest to make. Can you think why this might be?
We also sorted the shapes into groups according to their properties, including whether they had flat or curved faces. Some shapes have both!
