24 Jan Year 1 – Geography & Science
In Geography this week, we discovered where Nigeria is in the world and that it is on the continent of Africa. We looked at images of Nigeria and saw a video of life there. The cities are very similar to London!
Then, in Science, we have been learning about our senses. We went outside and wrote down the things we could hear, even if we couldn’t see them. There were lots of things we were only aware of because of the sounds that they made. We read a book together called ‘How the Ear can Hear.’ Some of us remembered reading it in our Reading Practice Sessions.
