28 Mar Year 2 – National Portrait Gallery
Year 2 went to the National Portrait Gallery as part of our work in art, computing and history. In art we have been drawing self portraits and we were able to see lots of portraits at the gallery. In computing we have been looking at digital photography and we were able to see lots of different photographs in the gallery. In history, we have been learning about some of the Tudor monarchs and comparing Queen Elizabeth I with Elizabeth II. We saw paintings of Elizabeth I and photographs of Elizabeth II. We were also able to see portraits of David Attenborough. Floella Benjamin and Marcus Rashford after whom three of our houses are named after.
