01 May Nursery – African Animals & 3D Shapes
This week in Nursery we have been learning all about Africa. We have found Africa on our globe and have talked about the different animals that live in Africa. We have looked at some African clothing and also danced to African music. We have also been practicing our scissor skills and used the scissors to carefully out pictures of the African animals.
Also this week in Maths, we have been learning about 3D shapes. The children went on a shape hunt and we found lots of different 3D shapes in our nursery.
Then in Science, we continued learning about how plants grow and the children have been planting some beautiful plants in our garden. We looked carefully at the roots of the plant and knew that they will need water and sunlight to grow!
