09 Oct House Challenge Day – Cultures & Languages
We have had an exciting day today celebrating our cultural heritage and the different languages spoken in school. Children came to school dressed in either the colours of their flag or in clothes that represent their heritage. Everyone had the opportunity to talk about what they are wearing and share more about their culture. We all learned lots about each other and even learned words from many different languages!
During our House Challenge, each of the houses spent the afternoon learning about a particular country and all about their culture. They children were really curious and showed a real respect towards eachother.
