26 Jun Reception – Keeping Cool & World Cup Celebrations
This week we have had fun in the sun! We have tried to keep cool, playing in the water and being sprayed with the hose! We enjoyed our World Cup day. We have been learning all about Brazil. We made carnival masks and streamers and had fun partying at our own Brazilian Carnival. We learned about the Amazon Rainforest, Amazon River and about the big statue, Christ of Redeemer. Brazil is a beautiful place. Did you know that 70% of the world’s plan and animal species can be found in the Amazon Rainforest?
We took our passports to a different class and learned about France too. Did you know that French people eat snails? What a fun and wonderful week we have had!
