17 Apr Reception TalkForWriting – Little Red Riding Hood
Reception have had a fantastic first week back at school. The children have loved reading our new focus story, Little Red Riding Hood, which we will continue to explore throughout the first half of summer term. They enjoyed learning key vocabulary and creating actions to help remember new words.
The highlight of the week was role-playing the story using masks and props. It was wonderful to see their expressions and hear them confidently using story dialogue. Well done Reception!
