03 Jul Reception Maths – Counting
This week in Maths, Bumblebee Class have been learning to count on using a number line. We created our own giant number line in the garden by arranging large number cards in a circle (1-20). We placed a teddy on a starting number that was given by Mrs Din. Then we rolled a giant dice and counted the spots to work out how many jumps to make forwards on the number line. We also practised recording our learning by writing the matching addition sentences on our whiteboards. It was a fun and active way to develop our counting and addition skills.
