22 May Nursery – Art Day!
The children had the BEST time taking part in our Art Day on Thursday! We looked at 3 different artists and their styles and techniques.
Piet Mondrian – The children used primary colours to colour in squares and rectangles.
Kandinsky – The children had the challenge of painting a large canvas in the style of Kandinsky, which they did beautifully.
Jackson Pollock – We all agreed that Jackson Pollock was our favourite style of painting. The children experimented with dripping, splatting, spraying and pouring on a huge piece of paper in the garden. The best part was getting very messy and our art work looked amazing!
